Beyond the Credentials
Professional training matters, but Perfect Storms was also shaped by real life.
Families are busy, classrooms are complicated, organizations have limited resources, and even the best recommendation is useless if it can't realistically be implemented.
That's why the goal isn't perfection. It's finding practical steps that make sense for the people who actually have to live them.
There is a real person behind Perfect Storms.
I'm a wife, a mom, and part of a big blended family. Much of what I know about people hasn't only come from classrooms, research, or professional training. It has also come from living a full and sometimes beautifully complicated life.
Our family loves being outside and exploring together. You'll often find us kayaking, fishing, hiking, discovering new places around Montana, or simply finding another reason to get outdoors. I value family time, new experiences, laughter, and making memories in the middle of everyday life.
Being a parent has also taught me something professional training alone never could: even the best advice has to work when you're tired, the schedule changes, kids have different needs, resources are limited, and real life refuses to cooperate with the plan.
That perspective is woven throughout Perfect Storms.
I don't believe people need perfect lives, perfect families, perfect classrooms, or perfect organizations to make meaningful progress. Sometimes they simply need someone willing to understand the whole picture and help them find a realistic way forward.
